2025 Penang training for students of KOSEN and Toyohashi Univeristy of Technology

From August 17 to August 30, 2025, Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) organized an overseas training program in Penang, Malaysia, for our university students and KOSEN students.
A total of 28 students participated: 16 undergraduate students from TUT, 12 students from 7 KOSEN, and 4 graduate students (Master's Program) who joined as facilitators. During the program, participants attended a lecture hosted by the Consulate-General of Japan in Penang, took part in English training sessions, joined a hackathon program at INTI College, interacted with local university students, visited companies, and explored George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Students shared their impressions, such as:
"I enjoyed being able to interact with people from diverse backgrounds both inside and outside Japan, and I learned a lot."
"I realized again how important communication between people truly is."
"This program made me think that TUT would be a great choice for my future studies."
"I made many new friends."
