Our university and the University of Eastern Finland operate a double-degree program and a multiple-degree program (IMLEX). The two professors visited our university to attend the degree conferral ceremony held here and to present diplomas to students enrolled in these programs.

Following the commencement ceremony, they paid a courtesy call on President Wakahara. Vice President Nakauchi and Professor Ishikawa of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering were present on behalf of our university.

During the meeting, the University of Eastern Finland extended an invitation to President Wakahara to visit their institution and requested that Professor Ishikawa deliver a lecture. It was agreed that President Wakahara would visit the University of Eastern Finland next February, providing an opportunity to further deepen exchanges between the two universities.
