
Toyohashi University of Technology conducted a 530 (GOMIZERO:Zero Garbage) campaign

On May 30, faculty, staff, and students participated in the 530 (GOMIZERO:Zero Garbage) Campaign. Toyohashi City is the birthplace of the 530 campaign, and this is an annual event to raise awareness of environmental beautification and effective use of resources through this activity. The event was suspended for a long time due to the pandemic of COVID-19 , but was held for the first time in four years.
Under the command of President Terashima, a total of about 900 faculty, staff, and students picked up trash in their assigned areas on campus, roads around the campus, and prefectural roads in the surrounding area.
