
Delegation from Andong University, Korea, Made a Courtesy Visit to President Wakahara

On Thursday, February 6, a group of six members including President Chung Tai-Joo and Dean Lee Young-Tae of the Graduate School of Andong National University, Korea, made a courtesy visit to President Wakahara.
They exchanged opinions on the current situation and issues surrounding national universities in Japan and Korea, as well as important future initiatives of both universities.
Afterwards, the group visited the Institute for Research on Next-generation Semiconductor and Sensing Science (IRES²), Associate Professor Choi introduced his research activities, and they discussed plans for future exchanges.
This was the first foreign visitor since President Wakahara took office.
