On December 15, Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) concluded an university-wide academic exchange agreement with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Thailand.
King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) is a national engineering university in Thailand, tracing its origins to the Nong Thaburi Telecommunications Training Center established in 1960 with Japanese technical cooperation.
The campus also houses the Thai National Institute of Technology (KOSEN-KMITL), which introduced Japanese-style technical education, maintaining very close ties with Japan from its founding to the present day.
With the conclusion of this agreement, both universities have agreed to promote various exchange initiatives, including student and faculty exchange programs. Great expectations are held for the further development of collaborative projects between our institutions in the future.
