Procedures for Using the University Network
Doctoral program students enrolled following the Master's program at TUT do not need to do this.
This procedure is available from October 1, please complete this as soon as possible in October, as it is required to connect to the campus network.
First, please be ready with the following two documents in your hand.
"Account Information of Toyohashi University of Technology":Send by LetterPack.
"Notification of your matrix code":Sent by regular mail at the same time as Letter Pack.
However, for students who have difficulty entering Japan at the time of enrollment, the International Student Section will send them in another way.

Various settings are required to use the university network and information systems. For details, please see items (1) to (6) of the "Important Notice for New Students" on the Information Media Center website. Please be sure to read and set them up. (1)Attending network guidance (2)Keeping safe "Account Information of Toyohashi University of Technology" and "Notification of Your Matrix Code" (3)Registration of your email address for password recovery (4)Setting up one-time password generator (5)Setting up Gmail app on your smartphone (6)Attending the INFOSS Information Ethics course and passing the quiz |
Once you have completed steps (1) through (6), the procedures for using the university network will be complete.

Guidance for New Students On-demand
Doctoral program students enrolled following the Master's program at TUT are not required to take this.
[Period of On-demand Program: October 1 to October 6]
Follow the steps below and watch all on-demand guidance contents.
After watching them, please answer two questionnaires.

(1)First, you need to complete the procedures to use the university network. (2)Enroll in the Google Classroom for New Student Guidance Login to Google Crassroom with the email address listed in the "Account Information of Toyohashi University of Technology" and take the on-demand guidance on your own.

2. Events and procedures at the beginning of enrollment
Distribution of Student Life Related Materials and Submission of Personal Documents
On October 2, after the admission procedures for international students, we will distribute necessary materials for student life. At that time, you will be asked to fill out and submit your personal documents.
If you can not attend that day, please come to the Educational Affairs Section (B-building 1F, east side).

Submission of Personal Information Form & Payment of Initiation Fee
International Student Admission Procedures will be held in A-114 lecture room, from 11:00 to 12:00 on October 2 (Thu.). Please submit your Personal Information Form at the procedure. Also, you need to make payment of \1,000 for Initiation Fee at the same time (No payment required for in-school admitted students).
Students who can't attend at the time need to come to Student Affairs Section (B-building 1F, west side) to take the admission procedure after receiving your personal documents.

Course Registration and Preparation
After taking the guidance, complete the procedures below.
(1)Register for courses on the KYOMU JOHO SYSTEM, which can be accessed from October 1.
Be sure to register on your own before the end of the period. Please also check the " Academic Calendar" for the schedule.
(2)Register Google Classroom for the courses you have registered for.
See the Google Classroom Class Code List to check if there is a Classroom for the course.
If there is a Classroom, register it because it will be used for remote classes and important information about the class will be given in the Classroom.
*Course registration in the KYOMU JOHO SYSTEM is not linked to Google Classroom registration.
(3)If the syllabus says " Remote Class" but there is no Google Classroom
Ask the lecturer in charge of the course how to take it.
The email address is listed in the syllabus.
