Research
Based on the concept; considering new relationships between human beings/environment
and visual media, we are developing novel theories, systems, and technologies that will serve as the foundation
for the next-generation digital media environment focusing on CG, images/video, and human motion.
Theme1:Motion data informatics based on deep learning
Overview
State-of-the-art machine learning technologies are introduced for analyzing and synthesizing human motions using motion capture data that can be collected by measuring actual human movements and behaviors. This project develops a novel system for an interactive system with avatars, visual support for the training of dance, sports, skill-movements, and discriminating subtle human motions, etc..
