Robocon Club Holds XROBOCON Demonstration Event at EXPO 2025 OSAKA, KANSAI, JAPAN
We successfully held a special demonstration event by Toyohashi☆Robocons at the “EXPO Hall ‘Shining Hat’” during the EXPO 2025 OSAKA, KANSAI, JAPAN held held over the weekend of August 26th ~ 27th. Large numbers of people were willing to brave the high temperatures on both days to visit the event.
This event was a special initiative themed around basketball, a competition category for the 2025 Student Robocon, aiming to recreate the excitement of Robocon. Taking the stage were the dunk robot “RJ,” developed to challenge the 2025 competition and possessing high-scoring potential, and the 3-point robot “RC,” designed to reliably score points. Additionally, past robots like ‘RCv2’ and “AlJ,” which excelled during practice, also appeared, with a total of four robots gracing the Expo stage.
ロボコン同好会が大阪・関西万博で XROBOCON デモンストレーションイベントを実施しました
この度、8月26日（土）・27日（日）に開催されました大阪・関西万博の「EXPO Hall “Shining Hat”」において、とよはし☆ロボコンズの特別デモンストレーションイベントを無事に実施することができました。連日、猛暑にもかかわらず、多くの方々にご来場いただきました。
今回のイベントは、学生ロボコン2025の競技であるバスケットボールをテーマに、ロボコンの熱狂をそのままに再現する特別な企画として開催しました。登場したのは、2025年度の競技に挑むために開発された、高得点の可能性を秘めたダンクロボット「RJ」と、堅実に得点を決める3ポイントロボット「RC」です。さらに、練習の中で活躍した「RCv2」や「AlJ」といった過去機体も登場し、計4体のロボットが万博のステージを彩りました。
ハイライト
学生ロボコンの醍醐味であるチーム対決を実演しました。「RC/RJ」チームと「RCv2/AlJ」チームによる2on2の試合は、コートを動き回るロボットたちの姿と、ぶつかり合いながら展開する迫力ある試合に、観客席から大きな歓声が上がりました。連携プレーや実戦での動きを、臨場感あふれる形でお届けできたことを嬉しく思います。
また、観客参加型イベントとして、ロボット「RC」と来場者の皆様による3ポイントシュート対決も実施しました。正確なシュート能力を持つロボットとの対決は、技術と遊び心が融合した体験となり、ロボット技術を身近に感じていただく良い機会となりました。
今後の展望
今回の万博でのデモンストレーションは、私たち「とよはし☆ロボコンズ」にとって、ロボコンの魅力をより多くの人々に伝え、豊橋の学生の技術力と情熱を日本中に見せるための一歩となりました。皆様からの温かい拍手や応援の言葉は、今後の世界一への挑戦における大きな原動力となります。

Toyohashi University of Technology 50th Anniversary Pre-Event: Industry-Academia-Government-Finance Exchange Event “Innovation Meetup 2025 @ GIKADAI”
Toyohashi University of Technology held the Industry-Academia-Government-Finance Exchange Event “Innovation Meetup 2025 @ GIKADAI” on October 3, 2025, as a preliminary event ahead of marking its 50th anniversary. This event aims to contribute to the growth and revitalization of the entire region by creating new business opportunities and building cooperative relationships through information exchange and networking. This year, in addition to traditional industry-academia-government partnerships, financial institutions also participated. It provided an opportunity for companies, administrative bodies, and financial institutions from the Higashi-Mikawa, Kosai, and Hamamatsu regions, centered around Toyohashi University of Technology, to gather together.
Following an opening address by President Akihiro Wakahara, congratulatory remarks were delivered by Mr. Yukio Eguchi, Vice Governor of Aichi Prefecture, and Mr. Shigeo Shiga, Vice Chairman of the Higashi Mikawa Industrial Creation Council. This was followed by keynote speeches: “LSI/Sensor Technology Pioneering the Region” by Dr. Kazuaki Sawada, Director of the Next-Generation Semiconductor and Sensor Science Research Institute, and “Achievements Thanks to Industry-Academia Collaboration!” by Professor Emeritus Saburo Tanaka.
During the industry-academia-government collaboration case study session, presentations were made by university researchers and corporate representatives across four fields: “Robotics & Mechanics,” “Agriculture & Bio,” “Advanced Technologies,” and “Environment & Energy.” Additionally, the meetup poster exhibition featured over 100 displays from industry, academia, government, and finance. Throughout the event the presentation and exhibition halls were buzzing with excitement. A diverse program unfolded, including campus tours of facilities like the “LSI Factory” and “Cutting-Edge Plant Factory,” a student startup activity presentation session, and even a financial seminar. Approximately 400 attendees participated, and the event concluded successfully.
This event served as a “meeting place” where industry, academia, government, and finance collaborated, paving the way for future co-creation.
As a new initiative, this event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of financial institutions and industry partners. We also received tremendous support and cooperation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, local business associations, and government agencies. We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our sincere gratitude.
豊橋技術科学大学開学50周年プレイベント 産学官金大交流会「イノベーションミートアップ2025＠技科大」を開催しました
豊橋技術科学大学は、開学50周年プレイベントとして、2025年10月3日に産学官金大交流会「イノベーションミートアップ2025＠技科大」を開催しました。本イベントは、情報交換とネットワーキングを通じて、新たなビジネス機会の創出と協力関係の構築を目指し、地域全体の成長と活性化に貢献することを目的としています。今回は、従来の産学官連携に加え、金融機関にも参加していただき、豊橋技術科学大学を中心に東三河や湖西・浜松地域の企業、行政機関、金融機関が一堂に会する機会となりました。
若原昭浩学長の挨拶に続き、愛知県副知事の江口幸雄氏と東三河産業創出協議会副会長の志賀重介氏よりご祝辞をいただきました。その後、次世代半導体・センサ科学研究所所長の澤田和明氏による「LSI/センサ技術が地域を拓く」、および田中三郎名誉教授による「産学連携でこれができた！」と題した基調講演が行われました。
産学官連携の事例紹介セッションでは、「ロボ・メカ」「農業・バイオ」「先端技術」「環境・エネルギー」の4分野で、本学の研究者と企業関係者が発表を行いました。また、ミートアップのポスター展示では、産学官金から100件以上の展示があり、発表会場や展示会場は終始熱気に包まれました。「LSI工場」や「最先端植物工場」などの学内見学ツアー、学生スタートアップ活動発表会、さらには金融セミナーも実施され、多岐にわたるプログラムが展開されました。当日は360名を超える方々にご来場いただき、盛況のうちに閉会しました。本イベントは、産学官金が連携し、未来の共創へとつながる「出会いの場」となりました。
本イベントは新たな取組みとして金融機関の皆様や産業界の皆様からの協賛を賜り運営させていただきました。また、商工会議所・商工会の皆様、行政の皆様には多大なご後援・ご協力をいただきました。この場を借りて、改めて厚く御礼申し上げます。
