summary_page-0001.jpg In recent years, the volume of data communications has increased dramatically, and the performance of antennas mounted on wireless devices must become more sophisticated, as they are the most important factor influencing the quality of communications. Within the framework of future wireless systems, we are actively working on the development of active antennas (AIA) and reconfigurable antennas.

Theme1:Multifunctional Active Integrated Array Antenna (AIA) for Next Generation Wireless Communications

Overview
Developed AIA with various polarization and beam-switching functions

Self-oscillating active integrated antenna (AIA), capable of converting dc power to electromagnetic waves for direct radiation to space, has been suggested as a futuristic antenna
design solution. AIA has found applications in wireless power charging system (WPT), multicarrier radio frequency identification (RFID), and Internet of things (IoT) systems. A careful literature survey reveals that up-to-date, there are just few studies on multi-functional AIAs, dramatically against the anticipation. Thus, this research is devoted to analysis, modelling and design of advanced AIAs.
