TUT Robocon Club took second place at NHK Robot Contest 2016

TUT Robocon Club took second place at NHK Robot Contest for University Students 2016 held in Ota-City General Gymnasium (Tokyo) on 10th July 2016.

TUT Robocon Club has participated in NHK Robot Contests since 1992 and takes pride in being six times winners at them.
This is the second time to be second place following the contest in 2010.
In 2002, 2008, and 2009, the club also participated in Asia-Pacific Robot Contests as the Japan national team and reached top four in every contest.

Twenty-four teams participated in the NHK Robot Contest in 2016.
Controlling two robots; Eco-robot and Hybrid robot, each team competed on the speed of completing various tasks.

NHK broadcasts about the contest on 6th August 2016 (NHK General TV: 4:05pm~5:04pm, Japan Time).
