Director of YAYASAN PELAJARAN MARA (Malaysia) visited TUT

Mr. YB BUDIMAN BIN MOHD ZOHDI, Director of YAYASAN PELAJARAN MARA (YPM), and others visited Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) on December 13, 2016.

The Malaysia Japan Higher Education Program (MJHEP) is the twining higher education program implemented by YPM and fully funded by the Government of Malaysia.

Students in this program mainly learn Japanese language and fundamental engineering in Malaysia for three years. After passing the screening process, they take engineering courses for two years at member universities in Japan.
TUT is one of member universities. If applicants pass the transfer examination, they enroll in our undergraduate program as third-year students.

They visited Professor Naohiro Hozumi's laboratory where an international student under MJHEP program belongs to. Then, they had a courtesy call to Vice President Mitsuteru Inoue. They also had a meeting with professors in charge of the program to exchange of views about scholarships in Malaysia.

It was an extremely valuable opportunity since they could see the school life of MJHEP students at TUT.
