23 Oct 2015
On 5th October 2015, Executive Trustee, Vice President Mitsuteru Inoue visited Shine Mongol Academy, and concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement. He also attended the event commemorating the 15th anniversary of the foundation of Shine Mongol High School.
Shine Mongol Academy is an educational institute that is the parent organization of Shine Mongol High School established in 2000 (the first Mongolian high school modeling after the Japanese educational system), junior high school established in 2008, elementary school established in 2009, New Mongol Technique Engineering College established in 2014, and New Mongol Institute of Technology established in 2014.
In July 2015, Janchiv Galbadrakh, director-general of the Shine Mongol Academy, and Shirnen Buyanjargal, principal of New Mongol Technique Engineering College visited Toyohashi Tech. They paid a courtesy call to Toyohashi Tech President Takashi Onishi, Executive Trustee, Vice President Mitsuteru Inoue, and Professor Takaaki Takashima, and exchanged ideas about further collaboration.
The visit to Toyohashi Tech finally led to this agreement. We agreed to further develop our cooperative relationships to include student/researcher exchange programs.
We also exchanged ideas about further academic collaboration with Chimed Ganzorig, President New Mongol Institute of Technology, and Shirnen Buyanjargal, Principal of New Mongol Technique Engineering College.
During our visit to Mongol, we visited Mongolian University of Science and Technology Institute of Technology and Institute of Engineering and Technology, both of which were established by modeling after Japanese educational systems. A fruitful discussion was made about our future cooperation.
This agreement is a first, but valuable step towards stronger relationships between Mongol and Toyohashi Tech. We endeavor to carry our specific initiatives to further strengthen our partnership.
