Overseas Alumni Meeting 2014

In order to organize the overseas network among Toyohashi Tech alumni and activate their exchange activities, Toyohashi Tech alumni overseas branch establishment meeting was held 13th December 2014 in Toyohashi Tech Penang Campus (Penang, Malaysia).
In the meeting, 33 overseas Toyohashi Tech alumni participated from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Pakistan. From Japan, domestic alumni association members and staffs of Toyohashi Tech also participated.
The attendees discussed election of the representative alumni of each country, recommendation of the candidates in Japan for liaison with the overseas branch and management of the overseas alumni directory.
After the meeting, Tri-institutional (Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) and Toyohashi Tech) collaborative overseas alumni meeting was held in Northam All Suite Penang (Penang, Malaysia).
The meeting was supported by Tri-Institutional Collaborative/Cooperative Educational Reform Project, one of the National University Reform Enhancement Promotion Project (MEXT).
In addition to Toyohashi Tech overseas alumni, overseas alumni from NUT and KOSEN, the representatives from Tri-Institutions and Toyohashi Tech staffs and students participated in the meeting and exchanged the opinions to hold the future exchange event and organize the Tri-institutional alumni network.
More than 100 attendees deepened their friendship in the social gathering held after the meeting.
