They arrived in Japan on July 12, and they went sightseeing to the Nagoya Castle, SCMAGLEV and Railway Park and around Nagoya-city for 2 days.

On July 14, the group of UTM participated in the UTM-TUT Joint Workshop at Toyohashi University of Technology.

Next, they visited Center for Human-Robot Symbiosis Research and Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

In the afternoon, Dr. Ariva Sugandi Pernama, Senior Lecturer at UTM, and Prof. Taiki Saito, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at TUT, hold Keynote lectures.

Then students of UTM and TUT divided into 5 groups and had a discussion about the environmental issue to learn present conditions and problems which each of their countries have.

Each group made a presentation to clear environmental problems, and exchanged their opinions on the last day, July 15.

Despite a limited time schedule, this visit turned out to be a valuable opportunity to develop university exchange which could achieve interactive discussion.
