Fukuto Tomizato, a second year student in the Graduate Program of Mechanical Engineering for Master's Degree, Dowon Seo, Project Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Department, Hiroyuki Toda, professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Masakazu Kobayashi, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, were awarded the Best Poster Presentation prize at The 5th International Symposium on Designing, Processing and Properties of Advanced Engineering Materials (ISAEM-2012).
The presentation was awarded the prize because it was considered excellent from the perspectives of focusing on three major types of materials (metals, ceramics, and polymers) and taking a cross-sectional look at the technical and academic issues related to designing, processing, and evaluating advanced materials, which will support the future of humans.
