At the 29th SENSOR SYMPOSIUM on Sensors, Micromachines and Application Systems, which was held by the Sensors and Micromachines Society of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan from October 22-24 at the Kitakyusyu International Conference Center and West Japan General Exhibition Center, Nobuo Misawa, a tenure-track Assistant professor at the Electronics-inspired Interdisciplinary Research Institute, Kazuaki Sawada, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering, and Lee Hyun-Jae a second year doctoral program student at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Information Engineering, were awarded the Excellent Technical Paper Award.
