At the Annual 48th Convention of the Japan Regional Society held at Wakayama University during the period from October 8 to 10, 2011, Ms. Khanam Shamsunnahar, the Doctoral Course Student under Professor Miyata, was given the Award for her excellent presentation.

This Award is given to young scholars who have made significant research and presentation in the field of the regional science investigation.

Title of the presentation: A Computable General Equilibrium Analysis of Sustainable Toyohashi City with Green Energy and Smart Technology
