University foreign exchange students participated in a promotional tour of the city of Tahara on the Atsumi Peninsula

On October 26, approximately 40 university foreign exchange students participated in a promotional tour of the city of Tahara on the Atsumi Peninsula.

The tour was organized by the Atsumihantou Visitors Bureau, and began accepting foreign exchange students from our university last year. It is organized with the goal of showing visitors the beautiful scenery and history of Tahara. Participants take a bus to city tourist attractions, which include the Tahara Municipal Museum, Cape Irago, and Michi no Eki Akabane Loco Roadside Station.

During the tour, the foreign exchange students were able to taste local specialties and take in spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. In addition, in Cape Irago, the foreign exchange students were attended to by students from local Fukue High School. The groups were able to interact and ended up taking many photos together.
