03 Jul 2019

The Institute for Global Network Innovation in Technology Education held an International Exchange Day, with the aim of carrying out engaging international exchanges between Japanese students, faculty members, international students, and foreign faculty members.

"TUT EXPO 2019" was held on June 21, with the TUT Expo Executive Committee (TEEC) formed by volunteer students from the Global Technology Architects' Course taking on a central role in running the event.

On the day of the event, exchange students from China, USA, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar, Mongolia, India, Vietnam, Pakistan and Japanese students gave out tea and confectionery from various countries, and introduced their countries and regions to passers-by.

Some students also put on a show using the hall's stage. Spectators were able to watch martial arts demonstrations, performances and dances by students from Mongolia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia, and got to experience something they don't usually see in everyday life.

The venue saw around 500 visitors come and enjoy themselves, with the event in full swing by the end.
