Jit Sin High School from Malaysia visited via the Invitation Program

28 Dec 2018

TUT held an invitation program for 11 students and 1 faculty member from Jit Sin High School in Malaysia from Saturday, December 15th to Tuesday, December 18th.
"Toyohashi Study Tour" is aimed at providing an opportunity for overseas high school students who are considering studying abroad in Japan to consider their future academic paths by introducing the educational system and research activity at our university, the living environment in Japan, and experiencing mutual exchanges.

On Monday, December 17, they visited TUT. The day began with an introduction of the university by TUT students, then they visited the laboratories, made a courtesy visit to the president Onishi, and participated in a welcome event at the TUT Global House. To visit actual university facilities and interact with TUT students who shared their experiences helped the high school students imagine actual university life.

They also visited Jishukan Senior High School, Inochio Farm Toyohashi, and Futagawa Shuku Honjin Museum to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and technology.

It was an excellent opportunity for the students to experience TUT student lifestyle, learn about the education, culture and technology of Japan and Toyohashi, and consider their future paths.
