Delegation of Chang'an University, China, visited Toyohashi University of Technology

TUT has welcomed the delegation of Chang'an University on June 8, 2018, headed by Prof. Sha Aimin, Vice-Chairman of the university, and four other members.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange ideas with TUT on how both universities will advance collaborative activities such as joint researches, exchanges of students and researchers, the visit followed the conclusion of the Exchange Agreement and Student Exchange Agreement signed in December 2017.
Chang'an University is a national university and as one of the key universities in China, a designated institution under the government's 211 project. The university has been pursuing active engineering research and education, which leads to having partnerships with engineering-focused universities.
During the visit, the delegation members exchanged views and ideas with TUT academic including Prof. Terashima, Executive-Trustee/Vice-President in Research and Education, Prof. Matsuda, Vice-President in International Affairs, Prof. Sho, and Associate Prof. Lim. Chang'an University members enjoyed a campus tour, observing TUT's research facilities such as the Wave Engineering Laboratory and Instrumentation Systems laboratory.
This visit will help both universities advance future collaboration
