Roundtable with the President and Female TUT Students

12 Jun 2018

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, the Head Office for Gender Equality held a "Roundtable with the President and Female TUT Students" in the Hibari Lounge. 23 female students from TUT participated in the gathering, having a fruitful discussion with president Takahashi Onishi and vice president Akira Ohgai in a warm, casual setting. The members agreed to work on issues requested by female students such as improving campus environment and career support.

This project was held in collaboration with "Hosaikai" which is the alumni association organized by female graduates from Toyohashi University of Technology, with the participants receiving a commemorative gift (a sewing set) from the alumni association.

This year, the Head Office for Gender Equality also set up "Minna no Koe," a space for teachers and students to share their opinions and requests. Please give us your feedback.
