The 26th Prestige Lecture designed by President Sakaki will be held. [Free Attendance]

The 26th Prestige Lecture, a series of Prestige Lectures designed by President Sakaki will be held by inviting Dr. Toshihide Maskawa (Head of the Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute for the Origin of Particles and the Universe, Nagoya University), who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics as a lecturer.

 

The Prestige Lecture this time will be conducted in a dialogue format between Dr. Toshihide Maskawa and our university's President Sakaki.

 

This Lecture is also coursework for the AY 2013 Tailor Made Baton Zone Educational Program’s Master's Course--1st Development Leader.

 

Attendance is free, so anyone interested is welcome to attend.

[Lecture Overview]
The particle physicist, Dr. Toshihide Maskawa, (Head of the Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute for the Origin of Particles and the Universe), who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2008, and our molecular biologist, Dr. Yoshiyuki Sakaki (President of Toyohashi University of Technology), who acted as the President of the Human Genome Organization (HUGO) in 2004, will, in a dialogue format, talk freely about their view of life as researchers, how university education ought to be, as well as deliver messages to the young who will be bearing the future generation.
