Research Summary
This project, which is comprised of a joint collaboration with 1 university and 4 enterprises, is centered on a new fusion like field research and development in order to realize a new type of Optical Information Memory, based on the Development of Super High Density Information Memory, which is based on NanoTechnology materials by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Due to the this university-business collaboration, technology will be promoted and cultivated among CREST which will furthermore help to realize the dream of having an optical information memory which would perform at an ultimate rate of 40Tbits/inch2 and 800Gbps.

Based on this, the ultra-fast film type spatial light intensity/phase modulator which uses magnetophotonic crystals and photo polymer materials which possesses a nano-gel structure, the development of the multi-phased volumetric holographic record technology is executed by the centralized research system.
