Rector of Hasanuddin University (Indonesia) visited TUT

Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M. A., Rector of Hasanuddin University, Indonesia, and others visited Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) on July 13, 2016.

The purpose of their visit is understanding about industry-academia collaboration of TUT as part of "Project for Capacity Building in Engineering, Science and Technology (C-BEST) at Hasanuddin University in the Eastern Part b Indonesia" by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

We held a signing ceremony to renew an academic exchange agreement and a student exchange agreement. This is the 3rd time we have renewed them.
They had a meeting to exchange opinions about a development of Twinning Program, student and researcher exchanges, with Dr. Takashi Onishi, President, Prof. Mutsuteru Inoue, Vice President, and TUT staffs.
After the meeting, they visited the Center for Human-Robot Symbiosis Research as example of an activity on industry-academia collaboration of TUT.

Despite a limited time schedule, this visit was very fruitful for both universities to develop exchange in research and education for the future.
