The design presented by Takahiro Asano and Daiki Tanaka, first year students in the Graduate Program of Computer Science and Engineering for Master's degree, won the Best Robot Design prize at the Fourth International Conference on Social Robotics (ICSR2012), which was held October 28-31, 2012.
Among the various designs for robots envisioned in the near future that will open up the field of human robot interaction, this prize is awarded to the design presenters who were rated the top at the Robot Design Competition of ISCR2012, an international conference on social robotics.
