The studies in my office are classified into two fields. One is about environmental economics. In this study, first, the integrated environmental and economic accounting matrix of a study area is estimated. Then based upon the estimated matrix, a computable general equilibrium (CGE) model is constructed to examine the interaction between economic activities and environmental condition. Another field is about the theoretical consideration and/or empirical study of the economies of cities and/or regions. In this study, an intertemporal general equilibrium analysis and/or the theory of monopolistic competition are applied to examine the growth and decline of cities and regions.
