講師: 電気・電子情報工学系 教授／未来ビークルシティリサーチセンター・センター長　大平孝

テーマ: 「Toyohashi University of Technology Creates a Cradle of Fourth Generation Roadway Vehicles」

The history of railways starts with steam locomotives powered by coal, then diesel-oil based engines, followed by electric motors from charged batteries, and culminates in electricity from overhead cables. These four steps should be applicable for the development of practical "roadway vehicles" as well. With this background, Toyohashi University of Technology is creating a cradle of fourth-generation personal mobility electric vehicles on campus this year. The talk will include a spectacular demonstration featuring a scale model of this electric vehicle.
