TUT Formula got the fourth place overall in the 12th Student Formula Japan

TUT Formula, the automotive club of Toyohashi Tech, got the fourth place overall in the 12th Student Formula Japan.

The competition was held at the Ogasayama Nature and Sports Park ECOPA, Shizuoka, from September 2 to 6.

Student Formula Japan is the competition to develop human resources that, through the support of government, industry, and academia, will contribute to the development and promotion of both automobile technology and industry by having the students play the main role in planning, designing, and constructing an automobile on their own in a competition of comprehensive monozukuri, manufacturing skills.

The outline of prizes for TUT Formula are as follows.

  • Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award:
    recognizes the team who receives the best overall rating in safety, environmentally-friendly and advanced technology
  • JAMA Chairman Award:
    recognizes all the teams who participated in all Static & Dynamic events, and who accomplished all the events
  • ICV Sprit of Excellence Award:
    recognizes the top 6 finishers overall of ICV class
  • Design Award: Top 3 team in Design
  • Endurance Award: Top 3 team in Endurance
