Three members in the Department of Environmental and Life Sciences were awarded IEEE Creativity and Innovation Prize Paper Award 2014: Professor Akira Mizuno, Associate Professor Kazunori Takashima and Assistant Professor Hirofumi Kurita.

They got the award for the paper published in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications in 2013.
