JICA Chubu Director General Yasujiro Suzuki visited Toyohashi Tech

Director General, Mr. Yasujiro Suzuki from JICA Chubu, Chubu International Center of Japan International Cooperation Agency, visited President Takashi Onishi and Vice-President Mitsuteru Inoue on 16th July 2014, Wednesday.

Director General Suzuki requested Toyohashi Tech for further commitment with our international cooperation activities, based on accumulated knowledge and experience of, particularly from, Indonesia Higher Education Development Support (HEDS) Project, Indonesia Hasanuddin University Engineering Faculty Development Project, ASEAN University Network / Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network (AUN/SEED-Net).

Furthermore, Director General Suzuki requested Toyohashi Tech support of area of human resource development, mainly, for the Promotion and Enhancement of the Afghan Capacity for Effective Development (PEACE), and African Business Education Initiative for the Youth (ABE Initiative) Project.

Director General Suzuki and President Onishi exchanged views for future collaboration in international cooperation activities, and agreed to continue strong relationship including future possible agreement signing for more mutual commitment.
