Complete View of the Campus

The Manufacturing Technology Center was established in April 1982 as a joint-use facility for research and education programs on the campus. The center aims to serve as a workshop for making equipment, prototypes, and other mechanical instruments. Courses on manufacturing technology training and technical advice are offered to users. The center also plays an important role in promoting the interdisciplinary activities of researchers. Information on advanced manufacturing techniques is provided as a lecture topic.

   Activities:

  1. Maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment

  2. Education program for students

  3. Support for project research

    • Evaluation of structure and characteristics of metals and oxides
    • Development of reactive plasma spray method, and tribological hard coatings

  4. Topical lectures about production, materials and processing

  5. Support for extra-curricular activities

    • Entry in the robot contests by students
