The Research Center for Chemometrics, established in 1981, is a shared facility in TUT. From the beginning, the center has promoted chemometric applications for various modern analytical instruments. Now the center lays special emphasis on supporting research programs and education programs. Professional instruction and technical training are provided to students and researchers. In addition, new analytical instruments and techniques have been developed in the center.

The center is equipped with a variety of instruments for modern physical and chemical measurements. The following instruments are available to researchers and students in TUT.

X-ray diffractometer
X-ray diffractometer with rotating anode X-ray generator
X-ray fluorescence analyzer
High-resolution solid-state NMR spectrometer
Microscopic FT-IR spectrometer
Spectrometer for ultraviolet and visible region
ICP-atomic emission and mass spectrometer
Atomic absorption spectrometer
X-ray microanalyzer
Environmental scanning electron microscope
